Every October for the past 4 years, we’ve made a trek across 4 states to visit our son in Georgia. It’s been a fun visit every time, and so good to see him in person! This is also our one chance of the year to bring him things that are too big to mail.
When I checked his Amazon wishlist, I discovered that he needed a quilt, now that he has a double size bed. Time was running short, so I came up with a simple pattern that featured his favorite color–orange! The other fabrics ran along the spectrum from blue to green, with some other random shades in there as well. I’m pleased to say that I made the whole quilt from either scraps or yardage I already had!
Love this spotty dotty fabric for the binding!
I had some helpers when it came time to photograph the quilt–I’m thinking they stole the show!
